  • Edit your photos to perfection, so that you can enjoy them for years to come. She will use her professional editing skills to enhance the colors and details in your photos, and she will ensure that they are perfect for printing or displaying.

FAQ

When is the best time to book a newborn session?

Ideally, you should book your newborn session before your baby is born. Most people book when they are in their 2nd or 3rd trimester to ensure a spot is available when baby is born. This is because newborn babies are only sleepy and easy to pose for a short period of time, typically between 5 and 10 days old. The session is scheduled on your due date but Gemma understands that this is just an estimate and thus reserves time around your due date and only takes a few newborns each month.

How old should my newborn be for the shoot?

The best timing is when your newborn is between 5-10 days old to avoid issues like baby acne and fussiness. However, if your baby is older and my schedule has availability I am happy to fit in older newborns.

What safety precautions do you have in place?

The health and safety of your newborn and family are the TOP priority at Kabouter Studio. Every measure is taken to ensure that each prop is safe and sanitized before each session. In the case that either the client or Gemma is ill the session will always be rescheduled until either party is fully recovered. Gemma will also never pose your baby in an unsafe or uncomfortable way. Gemma is also fully vaccinated and keeps up with her vaccinations for each season and wears a mask and sanitizes before handling newborns.

How long does a newborn session take?

Session length is always determined by your baby! We will work around your baby stopping for anything they need feedings, diaper changes, and soothing. Typically sessions last anywhere from 2-3 hours and are never rushed.

Where is the studio?
