My name is Gemma and I am a studio portrait photographer, living and working in the Fort Lee, New Jersey area. I specialize in working with babies and kids who are my favorite people! I am originally from the Netherlands which is where the name Kabouter, which means gnome, comes from. I am a mom to our little miracle baby, Saya, who inspired me to start my journey in photography and is forever my personal muse for creative projects. I am a former English teacher having taught ages 5-10. I always knew my future would be working with kids as they light the spark within me.

Just before my daughter was born I decided to learn to sew which has also turned into a passion. For all sessions I have designer, vintage, as well as my own handmade pieces available.
